I believe in . . .

Sometimes people ask me if it is hard to be divorced and be a wedding photographer.  They wonder if it is sad for me to spend so much time documenting other people in love when my own marriage shattered to pieces.

I always say No – Not at all – Never.

Why?
Because I believe in love.

I believe that there are people who keep their promises.  I believe that there are people who value honesty and truth.  I believe that there are people who understand that love isn’t effortless.

I believe in giving without expectations.  I believe in forgiveness.  I believe in building bridges.

I believe in respect.  I believe in partnerships.  I believe in families.  I believe in eternity.

I believe that mistakes are learning opportunities.  I believe in picking yourself up after everything falls to pieces.  I believe in being gentle, with ourselves and everyone else.

I believe in letting go.  I believe in looking for what is right.  I believe in looking for the good things to come.   I believe in hoping for the best.

I believe we should dare to be happy.  I believe we should dare to pray.  I believe we can expect to find everything we are looking for and have everything we’ve ever wanted.

I believe in happiness.

I believe in love.

What do you believe in?
